A Christmas Movie Review Has Arrived 

Welcome back, my fellow film lovers! While many films have been released recently for the holiday season, I wanted to discuss in this blog post a unique and fantastic movie that exhibits the Christmas spirit and the meaning of being true believers in Christmas: Red One.

Red One

Red One (Summary) –

As Christmas Eve was approaching, Santa Claus and his trusty E.L.F (Extremely Large and Formidable) prepared for one last Christmas together, as E.L.F decided to resign. However, the crew of the Christmas Witch, named Gryla, kidnapped Santa Claus. She planned to make all of the people on the naughty list suffer the consequences of their actions, which at that time was the majority of the people in the world. Zoe, the head of M.O.R.A, joins E.L.F to help find Santa Claus with the guidance of Jack O’Malley. Their goal was to find Santa Claus and save him from the Christmas witch, to save Christmas, and to raise the holiday spirit by giving presents to the children on the nice list. While trying to save Santa Claus as quickly as possible before Christmas day, E.L.F. understands the reason he did the job he does when he sees Jack’s true soul and his change of character with his son.

My Review –

As I have loved the incredible work these actors have done throughout their acting careers, I was so excited when I heard they collaborated to make an adventurous Christmas movie. My favorite character from this film was Jack O’Malley, who the marvelous Chris Evans played. His sarcasm and comedic timing were impeccable, as the dynamic he created with Dwyane Johnson’s character, E.L.F., kept me laughing throughout most of the movie. The legendary and outstanding actors and actresses bring the magical touch that Christmas gives as it portrays a loving message of the true believers of Christmas and how one always has a good moral soul inside, despite their unethical decisions. Overall, this movie has been a fantastic twist from the classical Christmas movies to an action-sequenced and humorous performance to enjoy watching during the holiday season.  

Public Review –

Many have enjoyed watching this film because of its incredible action scenes and nostalgic representation of the true meaning of having the inner child Christmas spirit. Most of all, the actors and actresses they included in this film made it come to life and made it as successful as it was. After the first opening weekend since the movie was released, it earned 86 million dollars in Florida and 164 million worldwide at the box office. This movie raises our Christmas spirit and gives us a storyline different from the classics, creating a unique and brand-new illustration of Christmas. The audience praised the fantastic acting skills portrayed as well as the perfect and flawless comedic timing. This movie has even made the public fall in love with these actors and actresses more than before.
