A Second Break for A Movie Review

Welcome back, everyone! Many movies were released throughout the summer of 2024, and one of the movies I will be talking about in this blog post is Deadpool vs. Wolverine, which made an amazing comeback for all Marvel fans.    

Deadpool vs. Wolverine  

Deadpool vs. Wolverine (Summary)-

Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, lived a civilian life with his best friends. When suddenly, the Time Variance Authority fights him off to recruit him to save the world from being erased from existence. The leader, Mr. Paradox, explains to Deadpool that their world’s timeline is deteriorating with the loss of Wolverine, the world’s hero, as Logan from the X-men movie. However, Mr. Paradox, by using the timeline-jumping technology, intends to destroy his universe as it is no longer critical without Wolverine. Deadpool jumps into the multiverse to find a replacement for the legendary hero, Logan. He sees Wolverine, the least loved of them all, and “partners up” with him to save his universe while encountering a conflict between Cassandra Nova and the other versions of Deadpool from the different universes.

My Review-

As I have been watching Marvel movies for most of my life, I was so excited when I heard that a new Marvel movie was coming out in the summer. I went to the movie theater with my dad the following Tuesday, from the day it was released, as we have been Marvel fans for a long time. When the movie started, Deadpool danced to the iconic and viral dance of the song Bye Bye Bye from the band NSYNC. This part was one of my favorite parts of the movie as it demonstrates his classic humor and personality. Many legendary and iconic characters were brought back from previous films and classic quotes throughout the movie, which I was extremely excited and happy about. Overall, this movie has been my favorite from the summer of 2024 as it brought back many legendary scenes and characters and revived the Marvel universe from the recent movies that haven’t been as successful and well-loved as this one. As Deadpool said in this movie, he is “Marvel Jesus.”   

Public Review-

Marvel fans and others have enjoyed this film because of its iconic humor, characters, and more. After the first opening weekend since the movie was released, it earned 211 million dollars in Florida and 444.1 million globally at the box office. As its popularity grew, its earnings rose to 1.318 billion dollars worldwide. This movie brought back the famous dance from the group NSYNC, with millions of people posting videos on TikTok and YouTube shorts of them recreating the dance to their song Bye Bye Bye. People worldwide have given this movie an extremely high rating, increasing the number of people joining the Marvel fandom and making the Marvel fans proud and joyful.
